Anna came to us from a shelter as an owner surrender. She’s 3 years old and will require a dobe experienced home.
She had lived with 6 other dogs but was picked on by them when it was “breeding time”. She came to foster pretty nervous and shy and she is still nervous and anxious around new people. She will need to continue training to address some issues with mild separation anxiety and resource guarding.
She will do ok with relaxed, well behaved or older, calm dogs. She is okay with most cats and ignores them for the most part but can be protective of food.
She has so far been good around kids but still nervous and this should decrease with time. She would be best with older, calmer kids.
She is house trained, crate trained and extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle once she decides you’re ok. She’s definitely a Velcro Dobe! Once she settles in she is relaxed and low energy.
