Laila came to BDR not looking her best but underneath all her bumps and bruises is a beautiful dobie with a loving heart.
Laila is about 5 or 6 years old and LOVES attention from people, well at least adults.  Little children startle her too much so she will not be adopted out to a home with younger kids that live or visit there.
Laila has obviously been used for breeding her whole life so now it is her turn to be taken care of.  She is living in a foster home with cats and is fine around them.  Laila’s philosophy about other animals is if they leave her alone she will do the same.  Since she has had to defend herself against other dogs, we have not let her loose around dogs, she has just met them over a barrier.  For her safety, as well as any other dogs, Laila is going to be best living in a home as an only dog.
Laila is house and crate trained but like any dobie would prefer to be with her people on a softy cushy dog bed rather than in a crate.  She loves to go on walks, only short ones for now until she can get healthy and back into shape.
Laila is truly an adorable girl that quickly bonds with her people.  We don’t know her whole story but can only imagine what life was like for her.  The one things we are sure of is that Laila will never have to worry about things again, she will be loved and adored by her new family.
