Lillian

Lillian is a beautiful 3 year old with natural ears, that came to the rescue after being left at a rural campground in Frankfort KY. Thankfully a Good Samaritan found her and brought her to the Frankfort Animal Control.  She was in need of an emergency spay for a uterine infection, but now she is healthy and ready to find a forever home. She is a very sweet girl, low energy,  that loves affection and snuggles on the couch. She will even let you know with a whine if she feels you are not paying enough attention to her. She has been completely housebroken in her foster home and will let you know when she needs to go out. She has been very good in the house and does not need to be crated, although she does fine in the crate.  Many times, she will go in the crate to sleep when the door is open.  She does not shred blankets but she does have a tendency to suck her blanket until she falls asleep. She gets along with other dogs, but does not know how to play with them yet. She even tolerates and ignores the resident bully dog that wants to push her around. She walks well on the leash and does not pull – she also does well off leash and is working on her recall but she does not wander far from her person. She ignores the horses at her foster home.  She is very food motivated and it  has been discovered that she knows “sit” and “paw” for treats. Her only “fault” is that she doesn’t like kitties and feels they should not be in her yard so a “cat free” home is a must.
