This blue beauty is Savannah, a 2 year old dobie girl. Since Savannah was a stray we know nothing about her past but she has all the traits of a normal dobie, loves to be with her people.
Savannah does great playing with other dogs of all sizes. She is a little too intense around cats so a no kitty home is best. But she did well being around chickens!
Savannah loves to go on car rides and play with her toys. She seems to be house trained but not too fond of being in a crate but will settle down once she knows all is ok.
As you can see in her pictures she think she is the Easter Bunny. If you want to dress her up she is fine with that as long as she gets to be with you.
Savannah is still a young girl and will need a home with a fenced in yard. We prefer a physical fence but she should do fine in a home with a family that will train her to invisible fence.
The biggest hurdle for Savannah is that she is heartworm positive. The vet says she checks out healthy in every other way so we are confident her treatment will go smoothly. This will not be an easy road for Savannah but once she is cleared then she can go on to live a long happy life.
Savannah will be ready for adoption towards the end of June, but she can meet potential families before then. She will just need to be kept calm while under heartworm treatment so she will not be able to be introduced to new dogs and play with them.

We always need donations to help with this expensive treatment and her care while she is with us. If you want to donate toward her vetting care please send a donation via PayPal on our website or mail one in. Please note on your donation it is for Savannah
