Miss Betty is an extremely sweet and calm, quiet girl that is around 5 years of age. She adores people and loves to cuddle on the couch with you. She can be playful and is the right combination of playful but not overly rambunctious. She gets along with other dogs -both male and female and is fine with kitties and horses. She is calm and gentle enough that she should be fine with children ( although her current foster home does not have any children to test her). Since she came to us as a stray, we don’t have any background information on her but it is possible her previous home had a doggy door that allowed her to go out when she pleased. Since coming to her foster home, she is learning to go outside on a schedule and has not had any recent accidents in the house. Betty’s only issue is that she does not like being in a kennel. She will eventually settle down in a kennel but not before loudly and actively protesting her complaints. She loves to go on walks with you and enjoys running on the farm with her foster brother and sister, but her preferred place is on the couch for cuddles.
