Who can resist this sweet dobie face? This is Bruce, he came to the shelter and eventually to BDR as a stray. We are estimating him to be around 8 years old.
It would be hard for you to find a sweeter boy, everyone that meets him (including everyone at the vet office) says he is just a doll.
Bruce loves all people and loves his toys. If he was allowed, he would carry a toy around all day. He gets along well with kitties and would do fine with a non dominant dog (prefers the girls!).
Here is the sad part, Bruce’s vet suspects he has wobblers or something similar. The only way to truly diagnose is with expensive test that won’t really change the course of treatment or outcome. You can tell the way he walks there is an issue but not in his spirit. Bruce believes he can do anything he wants. Short walks around the yard and a comfy place to sleep is what this boys needs.
It’s hard to welcome a dobie into your family that you know has a medical issue that will not get better but Bruce deserves a chance to live out his life with a family that adores him as much as he will adore them.
