Taffy is 5 years old and a lovable fawn dobie lady despite how she was treated prior to coming into rescue. But now she is safe and happy and enjoying getting to know her foster doggy siblings. Gets along great with all sizes of dogs. No cat test has been done. She has not been around small children either but with her temperament we think she will be fine with children over the age of 8.
Taffy has very soulful eyes that tell you all you need to know about her sweetness. She wants to please you and loves to take walks.
Taffy is a bit of a foodie; she isn’t picky about her dog food or treats. She will even get a tasty treat off the counter if you leave one there. Quickly learning that is not behavior of a dobie lady.
Taffy is a bit of a laid-back girl so she would not like to be in an extra busy household or one that has a young dog that is hyper. She has been a Mommy dog several times over so it’s her time to relax and be a family pet.
Taffy came to us heartworm positive and is doing treatment now. She will be spayed after treatment and ready for her new home then, that will be sometime in June. But she is ready now to meet a new potential family.
